- Foundation is all about evening and balancing skin tone.
I start by prepping skin with moisturizer and then use fingers to pat into skin, building in areas that need more refinement.
I always work with a few foundation shades on hand to mimic the tone variations of real skin — lighter under eyes, matching in the T-zone.
Our skin responds to our environment and is not all one tone - I wear Atelier II and III in the Winter and Atelier III and IV in the Summer. - xx Gucci

Do I need a primer with the Vital Skin Foundation Stick?
Standard primers have Silicones and Dimethicone, which we stay away from; therefore, we recommend that an appropriate moisturizer that suits your skin type be used as skin prep and act as a primer.
There is an ingredient called Nylon-12 that is found in the Vital Skin Foundation Stick formulation that is fantastic because it adds flexibility to the formulation. Its main purpose is to help the product expand and contract with the skin so it does not highlight fine lines or wrinkles. -
What is the coverage and finish of the Vital Skin Foundation Stick?
Vital Skin Foundation Skin has a buildable, medium coverage. The creamy formula has a natural finish–leaving your skin radiantly amplified!

What's the expiration date of a Vital Skin Foundation Stick?
The Period After Opening (PAO) of Vital Skin Foundation Stick is 18 months and its shelf life is 36 months.
You can locate the Period After Opening (PAO) symbol on the bottom label of each product. The PAO symbol identifies the useful lifetime of a cosmetic product after its package has been opened for the first time.
