How do I prep my lips for application?

Gucci suggests that if you have dryness, use a washcloth with warm water to gently exfoliate the lips. This trick is a great step for brighter or super-pigmented shades.

Otherwise, Gucci likes to use a touch of a lighter, neutral Squeaky Clean Liquid Lip Balm shade and dab on a touch with her finger. Applying you favorite clear lip balm works too, but the key is just a little! This helps your lips not feel bone dry or too shiny/glossy.

We’ve substituted the use of silicones with a plant derived emollient oil blend that gives a velvety, cushiony ease to the formula. We’ve also substituted the use of petrochemicals – the products’ springy, suede texture is achieved with ingredients like sunflower seed and candelilla waxes.
