When floral designer Dana Worlock set out to build her dream shop in Pound Ridge, NY, she envisioned a sustainable farrm-to-market concept to grow her blooms on-site and host lively workshops, too. "This is my happy place," she says overlooking her garden and revamped Hedgerow-Ferme Ornée space, which opened early this spring. Describing her floral style as lush and dramatic with a modernist bent, Worlock has counted Blue Hill at Stone Barns as a client, with her work adorning many weddings and special events. These nature-inspired combos have also set the stage for Westman Atelier tutorials, so naturally, Gucci was one of the first students to stop by.

In today's video, Gucci learns the basics for creating a beautiful floral arrangement from stem trimming to water changing and even a magical hack that revives droopy tulips. "I always like to pick the greens first," Worlock advises while creating a greenery base to add other focal elements to like contrasting light pink ranunculus and burgundy anemones. A bright pop of color with makeup never fails to boost Gucci's mood as does the eternal beauty of fresh flowers.
