When Gucci began dreaming up a new beauty look for the holidays, she was meditating on something soft and sumptuous, skin-brightening and supernaturally pretty....with a certain festive X-factor. Enter 'The Holiday Edition'—a curated trio of best-selling products including two striking new shades. "I love the idea of amping it up with layers of rosy nude warmth and the most wearable peachy golden highlight," says Gucci of the limited edition clean beauty collection, which was made for cozy days and nights.
Slide open the luxurious heavy paperboard box and it's easy to see why: There's Mimi, a new standout shade of Baby Cheeks blush that lights up cheeks, lips, and eyes when swirled on with a Baby Blender brush. "It's my favorite Baby Cheeks now!" Gucci admits of the shade, which infuses skin with the warmest, most natural flush of tawny caramel-beige color, plus nourishing lightweight oils and detoxifying grape seed extract.
A hint of Super Loaded Tinted Highlight in Peau de Rosé brings brightness to cheekbones, tear ducts, and even the cupid's bow of mouth with its understated rose gold gleam and hyaluronic acid plumping spheres.
As for that X-factor? Meet Nectar, a new peachy golden shade of Lit Up Highlight Stick that delivers an otherworldly skin finish and can be patted on with fingertips "anywhere you want more radiance," says Gucci."I even love to put it on lips with a tiny bit of Peau de Rosé on top." Infused with warmer undertones than the original Lit Up, "it's beautiful for medium and deep complexions, or anyone who just loves a more golden translucent effect."
Here, Gucci shares her favorite way to wear the effortless trio, which is as superlative with an oversized sweater by day as it is with a glittering something special for New Year's Eve at home.
